Quick facts

You need membership and must meet the quest requirements of Song of the Elves. The wiki's money-making guide recommends 80+ Attack, 85+ Strength, 85+ Ranged, 80+ Magic and 77+ Prayer, but those are recommendations rather than hard requirements.
The Corrupted Gauntlet gives you 7 minutes 30 seconds of preparation. The normal Gauntlet gives 10 minutes.
A corrupted completion gives you 7 to 12 crystal shards and 3 rolls on the main loot table. A normal completion gives 5 to 9 shards and 2 rolls.
The rare drops are rolled separately, once per completion and independently of each other, so a single chest can even contain all three seeds. Corrupted rates: crystal weapon seed 1/50, crystal armour seed 1/50, enhanced crystal weapon seed 1/400 and Youngllef pet 1/800. You also receive a Gauntlet cape if you do not have one yet.
Normal rates per completion are much lower: seeds 1/120, enhanced seed and pet 1/2,000.
The wiki estimates roughly 4.14 million coins per hour for the Corrupted Gauntlet and 1.93 million for the normal Gauntlet, and prices change over time.

Tips

Bring more than one weapon type, because the boss switches between protection prayers.
Better armour reduces the damage you take a lot. With no armour the Corrupted Hunllef can hit up to 16, while with full tier 3 armour it drops to 8.
As of the update on 22 July 2026, resources like bark, ore and linum are stackable, weapon frames are guaranteed from the first weak monster kill and a tier 1 weapon needs no crystal shards.

Frequently asked questions

What are the odds of a crystal armour seed?

It is 1 in 50 on every corrupted completion (2%), rolled independently of the other rare drops. The chance of having found at least one after N completions is 1 minus (49/50) to the power N, which is about 64% after 50 runs and 87% after 100. The rare drop chances tab shows it for your own number of runs.

What are the odds of the Youngllef pet?

It is 1 in 800 per corrupted completion (1 in 2,000 in the normal Gauntlet). After 800 completions there is only about a 63% chance of having it, so plenty of players are still dry by then. The tool lets you reroll to see how streaky it can be.

Are the results real or averaged?

Real. Every completion independently rolls the main loot table (3 rolls) and each rare drop once, so the total loot value changes every time you reroll, the same as opening the chest for real.

Do prices update?

Yes. Item prices are loaded live from the Grand Exchange price API, so the loot values stay current.
